So some how I either lost the bolt or didnt tighten it and it vibrated out. Does anyone know where I can get one of those bolts? I have looked all over for them, no luck. Or does any one have a broken rt side mirror I can take apart?

Thanks
Ed

Not sure I'm understanding your need. What do heated grips have to do with your right side mirror? If you just need the LH thread stud for the mirror, that's integral to the mirror assembly.

Did your mirror fall off?

The right hand mirror holds the upper handguard mount down, the heated grip kit relocates the mirror with a different housing, Yamaha supplies a bolt to replace the mirror.

Yes. Most of the heated grip controls I've seen are mounted on the left. I have mirror extenders that use a bolt in the stock hole, with the mirror threading into the end of the extension arm.

If I understand correctly now, you simply need the LH threaded bolt that goes into the housing. The stud in the mirror is not removable, or rather is not intended to be removed, or sold separately.

Have you tried a Fastenal store near you? http://www.fastenal.com/web/home.ex

I used to go here when I needed that kind of odd fastener - http://www.parkrosehardware.com/departments/fasteners

Yes that is what I was talking about, the tour tech is only right hand thread, funny how they mention that the yamaha's and ducati's are different. Haha
