Your posts are difficult to understand because you appear to be changing damping settings and calling it Preload. There are only 4 preload positions (which can only be changed when the bike is stopped) but as many as 21 damping settings (of which 3 can be changed when the bike is moving).

You shouldn't be giving spring and damping advice until you learn how they actually work and interact with each other.

Re: valve adjust problem I think you are mixing mm and inches. The standard sizes are in increments of .05mm or .002 inches. Half sizes are in increments of .0025mm or .001 inches.......I think ::008:: The shim kits like Hotcams come in standard sizes, I buy half sizes from Jake Wilson.com.

Very true, I rode the 2013 Multi Strata with the Skyhook semi active suspension and while it was the best electronic suspension I have ridden to date, it was not as good as the suspension I already have on 4 different bikes in my garage.....just more expensive and probably less reliable.
