First Map tweak - Richer Off Idle and small Throttle Opening

Well, I thought that was what I was doing when increasing the MAP vs RPM values, but will admit to being a novice at this.

First Map tweak - Richer Off Idle and small Throttle Opening

This is my first foray into tweaking maps. My goal was to make the bike (Gen 1 with a 30 ECU) friendlier right off idle and at very small throttle openings. My thought was this is a 1200 twin. It should pull way better down low, so using the unrestricted map as a starting point I boosted the...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Today, I did the '14 clutch on my '12 along with the Barnett pressure plate. Like everyone else, oh what a difference! Great farkel. On another note, I usually use silicone spray for lube when mounting tires. It is a good lube and is good for the rubber. It has worked well for me for years...

New member from the land of Beer Brats and Badgers

Hi all. thanks for the add. I just picked up a '13 and it seems like just what I was looking for. I rode a Honda ST 1100 for a loooong time, but the knees finally said no more. This is the first dual sport I've had since back when they were called Enduros, although this one is a little nicer...
