Before I start my own in-house engineering, does anyone make a simple pad that I can attach to the rear OEM tail trunk for the passenger?
I'm talking about something that's easy to install and remove when solo with snaps or even Velcro.
Its a good ride for the passenger but a little padding on...
I just got my 590 LM installed and turned on, it sure seems like a nice unit so far. I would like to figure out how to upload some map data (for free of course).
Any suggestions?
Interested in the specific PNW trails and routes in NW Wa. state.
Note: I am technically challenged and my attention...
Thanks guys, that is exactly what I was looking for. This sure looks like the ticket, I feel a little more confident going into this project now.
Those pictures look great, sure am looking forward to this thing.
Anyone with a good quality pic of the Garmin 590LM on a Super Tenere (preferably 2014/15) could you please post a few good pics?
I'd like to see how it looks before I but it all.
It is a Tourateck locking cradle mount but there is a set of brackets that move it to clear the gauge cluster, specifically the blinker indicators.
Yes, it is a 2015 Super Tenere ES. Thanks.
I know there is a Touratech model that has an adapter to clear the blinker indicators but I cannot find it online.
Specifically a Garmin unit.
Please list model numbers and specific links that you all have.
I might end up calling them.
Thanks in advance.
On my second Tenere and it is indeed a 2015 ES, its worth every extra penny.
You cannot go wrong with the Tenere, one of the best bikes out there and I had a 2008 Connie.
Good luck, now go get your ES.
I have them on Seattles Craigslist.
Search there and I have pics posted.
Very nice helmets but she doesn't ride with me very much so I'm selling them.
Thank you, price is negotiable (OBO) and they are priced to sell.
Yes, It is alot of cash for A 3/4 but this thing is very nice.
I looked at others and have owned several 3/4 helmets including My Bell Mag 9 Sena but this one takes top honors.
Fit is unique as the cheek pads drop down lower than other helmets.
Wind noise is minimal and venting features are...
Engine heat? not this one. My '08 Connie roasted my rightleg for some odd reason.
This one is nothing, maybe a touch on the left at times but it is really well designed.
The side mounted radiator designer deserves a Nobel prize.
They are popping up here and there in the PNW but they still are a very misunderstood bike and not often seen at the watering holes and taverns.
I get "The three questions" a lot"
1) What it is?
2) Who makes it?
3) How big is it?
followed by the last one of course "how do you like it"?
Even...
Do other models such as the 590LM also block the signal indicators?
Is this additional mount required on all the mounting applications?
I would guess yes.
