Hi When I begin to compress the spring the top is also compressing. Maybe its stuck but I don't want to force it and break something. Suggestions?

Re: Very hard starting today Yes MarkJenn original battery. I wondered about that but it seems to charge OK within limits and holds the charge but I haven't gone further and tested under load. It's on the list. :)

Darn, just posted my hard start issue in another thread. In the midst of trying to get mine started. I love the bike with the ECU flash. Not going to spend the money to do it again. I'll get my fix from Yamaha and sell it.

I now have 20,000 km on my 12 and about 1000 with the new ECU reflash. I cannot say enough about getting that done. The bike would stall if I didn't give it lots of throttle off the lights so I had no confidence at being able to pull out quickly in heavy traffic. I also could not feel a whole...

I have the Yoshimura RS4 and it sounds great. Not too loud when just cruising, but satisfying when you open it up. BUT I recommend getting the ECU reflashed also. Transforms the bike. I hate to waste money, so I am not being frivolous here.

Welcome Good choice of rides. Consider the ECU flash upgrade. I did it this winter and it was worth every penny. I added a Yoshimura pipe also. No more off idle stumble and fast. There seems to be an ever increasing number of Ontario riders. May be time for a meet and greet. Ideas?

I put on a Cal Sci windscreen for a summer and found it - just OK. In a wind it acted like a barrier and the front end felt like it was being pushed around a lot. Helmet buffeting and corresponding noise was not pleasant either . I was always comparing it to my old Concours which had nice...
