    Seat Pitch and washers

In my case the lowering pegs just got me back to even. They are pricey but well made.

    Seat Pitch and washers

I have had my hands on the stock seat, Russell seat, and Rick Mayer seat. I measured the pitch of the seat as it sets on a flat surface as shown below. Both the Russell and RMS have a pitch of 25 degrees, while the stock seat has a pitch of 14 degrees. Those who are adding washer to the front of...

First round done - need help/suggestions on mounting SOLTEK HID's

My friend boB has an Aplirider and has had no issues. The guy sent me a noise isolator and it is tolerable so I'm going to leave it on as a backup for the Sena. The final design on the lights will have a 3/8" diameter bar that will go from bracket to bracket. I will then weld a mount that...

First round done - need help/suggestions on mounting SOLTEK HID's

SOLTEK HID Mounts I finally got the Soltek Fuego's mounted. You can find pictures near the bottom of my web page http://www.bopisolutions.com/Tenere/tenere.htm I used 1/4 x 1 steel. If they rust, I'll redo with 1/4 x 1" aluminum, make my own "PIAA" mounts and weld them to the bracket instead...

Auxiliary fuel tank fitted - JAZ cell

HeeeeeHeeeee. Maybe that's why I couldn't figure out how to get anything to go through it. Thanks, Steve.

Auxiliary fuel tank fitted - JAZ cell

Ox, in your original post with pictures, the picture right below " Disconnect the electrical plugs then methodically remove the hex screws from around the retaining ring." shows a bracket that is bolted to the fuel pump retainer. It has black vinyl on it. None of your pictures show any hoses...

Auxiliary fuel tank fitted - JAZ cell

I see why you drilled the bulkhead hole on the right side. There are a lot of obstructions on the left side, so it is best to drill on the right side and run the hose to the left side. You mentioned having to disconnect the fuel level. To add to that, you have to remove the electrical plug and...

Auxiliary fuel tank fitted - JAZ cell

I'm ready to add the bulkhead fitting. I remove the back tank bolt and thought I could swing the tank upward but it hits the latch bracket. Did you have to remove the front bolts as well to get the tank raised like it is shown in the pictures below?

First round done - need help/suggestions on mounting SOLTEK HID's

The PIAA Bracket are definitely week. The stem from the bracket which fits around the crash bar to the mount is only about 1/4" aluminum. I have designed some brackets and hacking on them now. Just finished my wiring. Going to add the fuel tank bulkhead while I have the plastic off. Then back to...

4.8 Gal Cargo Bed Fuel Cell

At added some pictures of my 4.5 Gal Tour Tank toward the bottom of my web page: http://www.bopisolutions.com/Tenere/tenere.htm Not near as flashy as what Eric and Ox did but it works for me. I like to slide on the seat, so I wanted the pillon to remain. If necessary, I can use a waterproof back...

4.8 Gal Cargo Bed Fuel Cell

Ox, Awesome. I book marked the page and will try to get to this in a few weeks. I found a female bulkhead from for aircraft. I think I'll add a quick disconnect at the bulk head so I can remove the hose if I want (doubt that I will). When I get done I'll take some pics. I'm using a 4.5 Gallon...

4.8 Gal Cargo Bed Fuel Cell

Eric or Ox, do either of you have pictures of the bottom of the tank where you installed the bulk-head fitting? Ox, you said you mounted on the right side. I have my shut off on the left side so I can open and close it with my non-thottle hand. Did you run the hose from the bulkhead on the...

4.8 Gal Cargo Bed Fuel Cell

I like to slide, (which is not as easy on the Tenere stepped seat as the single level KLR seat), so didn't want to take up space on the pillion. I need to get busy on my project so I can take some pictures:)

OX-34, How did you tap into your tank. Did you use a bulk-head?

4.8 Gal Cargo Bed Fuel Cell

I have a Tour Tank mounted to a Givi Rack, which I can swap out with my top case. I haven't plumbed the fuel cell yet. I didn't want to do a bulkhead and have a modification to the fuel pump that I'm working on. I started this a long time ago, but had a few surgeries which got me distracted...
