2014 Super Tenere changing mph to kmh
Has anyone found out how to change it. There nothing in the manual on it. You can see it on the instrament cluster if you look at and angle kph is just below it.
oh yeah the only real difference is that the ES model has a remote mount rear shock res, it's on the back of the passenger foot peg on the right side, so most of the bag mounts will NOT work, I talked to touratech and they said on should be ready in 1-2 mouths.
When you get sec, let me know roughly, how many km you did a day, and how many days it took you. I would also like to do that trip in the next couple of years. ::001::
I don't own one but my dad has one and it has just under 100000km and he's still on his first swing arm. But as far as I know he's never tried a 100 foot double with it, but maybe he's not riding it hard enough
I'm sorry I don't believe that he was just driving down the highway, and the rear swing arm just fell apart. And people have driven the GS adventure around the world loaded with gear and have never had a problem with it. Abuse of anything will cause it to fail. :-[
I have ridden both and GS is better, but with that said is it, $10000 better when compared to the Adventure not really. You are paying for the BMW name a little, and some extra bling thats nice to have but not a necessity. ::002::
It needs to have fly by wire, to get rid of those stupid cables on the handle bars and a single sided swing arm in the rear, and a on the fly ABS switch.
The Karoo 3 tires look like they would be a very good 50/50 tire, will have to try a set next time, if any one here gets a set I'm curious to see how long they last. ::001::
Has anyone ever put a set of Continental TKC 80 tires on there bike and what kind of Km did you get on them, and roughly guess how much dirt to pavement ratio did you do
