Glen you suck. Last couple days in Des Moines near or above 60°. Right now it is 5°f. My bikes are where you are and when I get back you will not ride with me!!!

And it may be my last good tenere ride.

You just need to spend a little more time here. Sorry I will miss your return, family calls. If it's any consolation, it is supposed to rain here tomorrow. We might get a 1/2" deluge. It may only get to 50F.

Glen it is not you. Time to stop. Just don’t want to.

You need to do what you are comfortable with. Lord knows I would love a second small dirt bike to leave here, but I don't want to give up the utility of the ST, and my wife isn't buying the "need" for two bikes.

Have you considered getting to your 50th state to officially retire from the ST?

Today was the day for the first ride of the season. After three months of rain, giant amounts of roadsalts and other reasons not to ride. We’ve had a week of rain (and storm) and today was 10*C and blue skies! 2 hours of getting used to the bike again, testriding after big maintenance and breaking in the new E-07+ Dakar. All well ofcourse, it’s the s10.

Took a ride through my home province and visited some beautiful places like Dekema-state, which is from the 14th century and used to be home to the nobility and a defensive building:

On it went to Martena-state, same story only this was rebuild in 1899 after years of decay. The rebuild building originates from 1680-ish.
But people lived here since the 14th century too.
Absolutely beautiful place, and still a family lives there. So no visit, only walking their gardens.

Finalmente!!!
First ride of season!
It is more like a stroll in the park actually because temperature are still " rigid ".
Luckily there are plenty of twisty roads around here anyway...IMG_20220226_093018.jpg
