Sorry - lets make it a L and not an XL - based on your measurement chart for the width, which I presume is measured laying flat side to side -correct?
Hi Anthony,
I've been holding off the flash for long enough! I need the same as everyone else : throttle, engine braking, different modes, etc. How long will it take you and what is the best way to be sure the unit gets to you and back? I'm in Southern California and have the 2016 ES with about 16500 miles. email me at hrumenapp@gmail.com. Thanks, Hal
2017 I have just purchased full arrow exhaust, K&N filter and a power commander 5, should I have a flash done as well?
Thanx in advance

The thing with the fins. It's the part that separates from the plastic bulb base.

Hi there Rob, I did not read the instructions and just installed the first one right out of the box without removing the collar. I found by removing the collar it was much easier to get the second bulb in. hope this helps. Enjoy your bulbs!

You can do either, but I found it way easier to remove the heatsink to install the bulb. Once the bulb and wire to hold the bulb are in place, simply re-attach the heatsink. If you don't do it this way you will find yourself bending the retention wire in weird angels if that makes sense.
I just posted some pictures of the V-Strom. No bags. The little tail bag is one off of my past Buell 1125R Superbike:)
Hi Anthony. I have a 2017 Tenere with stock exhaust. I would like to have you perform your flash .Do you recommend flashing for gen 2 ?. Do you recommend to change exhaust or air filter ? I noticed the snatchiness and also would love to have the lower gear restriction removed. It has approx 14,000 km. You can email me with instructions to send it and pay options. shlomi_75@walla.co.il
Thank
Russell seats have serial numbers. Mine is 0118-31621. They can use that number to look up information on the seat for you.

I just talked to Jay, at Russell, and he looked up your file on that seat, including looking at the photos you sent. He confirmed that your seat would likely be very similar to what they’d build for me, and my increased inseam length would be an advantage. So I’m very interested. I don’t know where you’re located, so shipping costs are still an issue, but let’s talk about that. Email me at guyinthewater@gmail.com.
5'7", 29" inseam. I was definitely on my tippy toes at stop signs. But 1000 mile days were a piece of cake. I can email you pictures, I don't have a hosting site so I cannot post pictures on this site.

Thanks for the photos. Yours is exactly what I’d be ordering. Tomorrow I’ll call Russell, and see if there is a noticeable difference in the build because of our slightly different measurements. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can so that we can either wrap up a deal, or you can contact the gentleman behind door #2. Thanks for getting back to me.
I have a Russell seat from my 2014. $400 + shipping. Built for my 170 pound weight.

What are your other measurements besides weight, like height and pants inseam. Where are you located, and do you have any photos of the seat?
My bike is still for sale. I have to ride something smaller. I am walking, using 1 crutch. Super T is just too heavy for me to ride.
I asked about the clutch micro switch and the right control pod. I was able to clean/repair both on my bike ( contact cleaner and soldier ;-) ) so am no longer interested except for holding as spares. I might give $30 for both but don't think this is a fair offer.
