Riding the GS and GSA was part of why I bought a Triumph Tiger 1200..... do not ride a GSA warning you will buy one.
The only other bike I considered was the KTM 1290 and it would be in the garage if it had a shaft.

'Cuz you can't get hurt when it's in the shop all the time.. . . . When I will be in my 80s and not confident about my riding I will get a GSA . . . .
Me? Nope. I remember seeing an older one in the bed of a truck. I was amazed that it was small enough to fit with the tail gate closed.Did you ever take a Buell for a test ride ?
How is your new bike working out ? We need more photos and info !Riding the GS and GSA was part of why I bought a Triumph Tiger 1200.

Hey TABASCO I love the bike. Lots of hi tech but what the Tenere has is all you need. One thing the S10 has is instant fuel mileage. I found the Ten gets about 70mpg cruising 45. But when we filled bikes up after exact distances and speed they got identical mileage. How is your new bike working out ? We need more photos and info !
That is why my next bike is the KTM 1290...it is certainly more fun and for that I accept the potential reliability issues...I cannot accept however a very expensive bike with a fade/a bit boring engine and lot of bells and whistles that I can live without...just sayingHey TABASCO I love the bike. It has been my love for 10 years as well...now I am just trying a midlife crisis bikeI love a boringly reliable bike. (or anything else)
That means you're already too old for it!I don't think I'm going to have a mid-life crisis. Don't know the why. ...
Agreed. That's why I was pretty sure I wasn't going to have one. Then I saw that video. . . . and realized why. That means you're already too old for it!
I have ridden several Buel motorcycles. they were a lot of fun. they were also very inconsistent on how they ran and felt. The lower tuned units all ran more the same than the higher tuned units did. I also liked the 900 very well. It was much easier to turn than the 1200s. I would never consider getting rid of my Super T for one but I would like to have one as a play bike just to piddle with. I thought they were very fun to ride. I never rode the ones with the Rotax motor only the sportster motored units.Did you ever take a Buell for a test ride ?
I will reach this wisdom one day...hence I am not selling the S10....will keep it...I don't think I'm going to have a mid-life crisis. Don't know the why. Maybe I've had my excitement, and now I want to be boringly reliable.
Here's the article link. It doesn't say who providing the motor. But it's an 1190, so I was wondering if they were use the last gen KTM.I have ridden several Buel motorcycles. they were a lot of fun. . . .
It's an evolution of the Rotax engines that were previously used in Buell bikes. Here's the article link. It doesn't say who providing the motor. But it's an 1190, so I was wondering if they were use the last gen KTM.
