I am always surprised how easily Americans finance anything. Not judging at all, we mostly do it different over here. If I ain’t got the cash, I ain’t buying. What I understand it is normal at your side of the pond, no problem with that. Just feel awkward to me.

Around here too…..everything is in cash….there is financing, but the interest rate is of the order of 100% (banking)…and 130% (credit cards)….annual interest…if all of that is added add the "extra price"... it's not easy...
I’m here now….and buy a helmet

In my country they sell it to you (in exchange)…U$400 cash!!!…:):)

And there's many that are in financial trouble. Cough, cough, US Government. But you're right, I know people that are making payments on TVs, grills, furniture, etc. Not me. Cars and House are about it. I have several credit cards due to their fraud protection, and cash back. Each statement is paid monthly, and I have never had to make an interest payment.

Yes it is surprising how willing most folks seem to be to finance stuff they don’t really need, guess they simply don’t actually understand how that all works.

The only loan I have is the mortgage and the only reason for that is because I can use that 3.125% to make a lot more elsewhere.

Otherwise I’ve always had a hard rule of no loans on toys, which includes most vehicle purchases.

I’d like to buy from them since they are somewhat local. 105 miles. They will put you on the back burner if you didn’t buy from them when you need service. Might callem and make an offer. Don’t know what to offer. I’ve noticed a lot dealers have bikes listed they don’t actually have.
I’d start by talking to George at Times and seeing how well they can do, out the door total. Then you have a baseline to go back to your dealer.

Anyone watching YouTube videos on comparison bikes you're interested in ? This does NOT mean you're buying it, but have interest in the bike(s)........ I certainly do ! !

What bikes or videos are you "checking out"............ If you feel its a good video or you really like the person hosting the video (or series), share the link ! ! ! !

Some of these new bikes are pretty incredible.. Of course this is 100% dependent on what you enjoy doing on a motorcycle, or where you like to go.... Each of us riders are very different....... Some of these YouTube channels that have bike reviews do a good job..

What are some that you recommend, Im sure I can find a new channel I didn't even know existed by other folks sharing...........

That's a full retail insult and imho it is not even worth trying to negotiate with sales people presenting something like this.

As Dirt_Dad wrote, try Romney because they are a long day's drive from you. Ask for George as he is most knowledgeable about these bikes and tell him I sent you. Prices also change sharply by month so if you call today (in May), see what "special offers" they have and then call again tomorrow (June). btw - They had that bike on the floor and I know two more were in crates a month ago when we held the Camp-n-Ride there.

OR

Keep watching Cycle Trader for ads like these:
and

I learned that most of the super low mileage bikes are repos after a buyer doesn't make the first payment and they still have most of the full three year warranty. You need to keep watching for new ads because the really low priced ones either disappear fast OR more commonly a dealer will keep them posted just to get people to call even though the bike sold long before.

I won't be bold enough to call this good...yet. I started an experimental youtube channel. Trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. It's had about 16K views in the last 2 months. Most all videos are about, or from the seat of the 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R.

Still learning: Dirt_Dad Stuff channel.

Nice job on your channel. Having a new model bike helps you get lots of interest. Keep it up if you're enjoying it, I got monetized and make tens of dollars per week so I'm basically on easy street.

Thanks, yes only 20X more subscribers and maybe someday I can make the same kind of big money you're pocketing. Congrats on your windfall. :)

Definitely the new model is the big draw. I'm having fun with it. Learning some and have a whole lot more to learn.

No, that's how I got banned on one of my other youtube channels. Not doing that again.

I remember making the Multistrada my screen saver when it first came out....absolutely gorgeous. All these years later, it's looking kinda long in the tooth to me.

Yes, I know what I ride, and yes, I should not be throwing stones. But it's the truth.
