Oh ok. Thanks. When my S10 is on "Sport" mode I can't imagine it having anymore power.
I have not, to be honest I would not know where to start. I have a great local bike shop, shortly after the purchase I took in for a minor warranty work (dropped it off for a few days). My buddy called me and we chatted about a few things. I emailed him the linky to our thread airscrew/off idle stumble and he did it for me. My bike no longer stumbles, I have thought about an after market can (sound weight only) and a flash. I was going to remove my CAT but I dunno..........I get into something from time, never did any complete any of the ideas I have looked into, well I did do the CJM.eemsreno said:Patrick
My bike runs perfect! Have you ever tried setting the CO. up to +18 or 20 on both cylinders?
I have not ridden a flashed Tenere. I would imagine that they run great also. I have spent some time on the 2014 Tenere [I can trade with Clint any time I want] and I like my bike every bit as much.
On that particular 272 mile stretch of great fuel mileage I would say it was because of slower speeds and higher altitude. I have gotten in the 50s several times 2 up when at high altitudes.

The top off again and figure.
That is bizarrel I get around 200 miles out of my 2013 world crosser before the fuel indicator comes on and I start keeping an eye out for somewhere to fill up. I do have a top box (Givi V46NT) and I'm a lard-arse, but you get over a third more distance per tank than I do.eemsreno said:On our 2015 trip to Alaska the three blue Teneres went 272 miles and need 5 gallons of fuel.
That would be better than 54 MPG. Loaded with gear
Here in California, most of our gas contains ethanol. If I'm out of state, or fortunate to find a station without ethanol in the fuel, my mileage increases about 10%. Same for riding at higher altitudes.neilbarnwell said:That is bizarrel I get around 200 miles out of my 2013 world crosser before the fuel indicator comes on and I start keeping an eye out for somewhere to fill up. Am I being a wimp? How much is typically left when the light starts flashing?
