Yosemite Park / Horizons Unlimited Meet Up

We leave Monday from Puget Sound, pick up another rider outside of Portland, OR and will pretty much be riding this route to the event...Our group arrives on Wednesday afternoon.

Would be cool if we picked up a couple other bikes along the way...

I've lived in Oregon for over 40 years now and I've never been to Crater Lake. I'm stoked that we're going to be riding there on Tuesday. The weather looks great too.

I debated on attending this ride but I haven't tried many of the organized rides yet. Where are you guys staying down at the event? I did attend the Cle Elum Tenere event about a month ago and that was great.

Five riders are coming down from WA Monday morning and picking me up in Sandy, OR. From there we'll head past Timothy Lake near Mt. Hood down to Belknap Hot Springs for night one. Night two is in Eagle Lake near Susanvile, CA after a day ride and lunch around Crater Lake. Day 3 puts in Yosemite after a quick trip to Bodie Historical State Park.

We'll be watching the weather to plan the trip back up and hoping to go up Hwy 1 and 101 through the redwoods.
