Yamaha Super Tenere Specific Tank Bag For Sale

Title says it all, like new. I bought it two weeks ago for a trip because my Bumot bags were delayed. I used the bag for one overnight trip. It is perfect, all I packed in it was a day change of clothes and even had a plastic zip bag for those. This is the special bag for the ST by Yamaha, picture here:

$120 shipped anywhere in the lower 48, includes the cover and strap that come with it.

What's the material on the bottom? Is it something non scratch and soft that won't damage the matte gray paint?

Yeah read that, just wondering if the material is a neoprene soft type material, or harder vinyl type on the bottom? Can't seem to find that info online. I know some bags are one and some the other.

I have the bag and really like it.

The bag is as new and has the rain cover. It doesn't scratch the tank. It has a soft bottom, even the plastic buckle for the harness is covered.

I know it is sold, but I have a stupid question about the bag. Do you have to remove it entirely when you fuel up? I currently have a Giant Loop Diablo which has a harness that can unzip on from the harness on either side so I just flip it to one side and rezip when done.

Walt - it does have a snap buckle at the rear, with a large magnet centered on the fuel cap, and the front clips on the front of the tank. I will probably simply remove it to fill up. Another thing you can check out if we ever get together.

You unclip the back then slide it off left or right leaving the front still hooked. He's up then recenter and hook the back.
