Is anyone familiar with a genuine Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z wheel kit? The picture indicates a complete wheel sans the ABS parts. I’ve always wanted a spare rear wheel with a fresh tire mounted but used ones are scarce to say the least.

to be honest, NO over here in the UK when you look at the wheel section it listed prices for all individual parts ie rim, hub, spokes etc
so very expensive but i know the yamaha dealer buys a wheel in complete like your pictures but i,ve never seen it advertised as that

I just sent this number and screenshot to my Yamaha guy. I'll report back what he comes up with. I did a reverse number lookup and nothing comes up.

My Yamaha guy says there are (5) of these available in the US. If I wanted one, I would get it on the way.

I paid a lot less for a complete rear wheel on eBay back in 2017, rotor included, wheel was supposedly off a totaled Tenere with 12,000 miles, after the wheel arrived I took it to a mechanic that loves doing spokes paid $50 to have him tell me the wheel was very close to perfect.

Thanks,

I just checked with a friend who works part time at a Yamaha dealer ….. the wheel kit, ABS sensor, and assorted hardware……$750.00 total with tax. I decided to pass and just keep mounting tires as needed.

I can confirm this part number is for a complete rear-Wheel, with spokes, hub, bearings and seals with center-spacer, and even a new valve-stem and a bag of hardware for the brake-rotor and abs-ring.
I ordered it from Partzilla. It was shipped from Boats.net

For the price, it was a good option for me as you can just-about buy just the outer rim for that price.
I dinged mine pretty good on a large rock, and need to get it repaired.
This will allow me to have a spare rear wheel assembly with tire, so I can still ride the bike while I take my current one to Woody's at my leisure.

My dealer got mine in and I'll be picking it up Friday morning.
