Walked through that very door many times. Back in my flying days I used to bribe my daughter to go for a ride with dear old dad with the promise of landing at Frederick for ice cream. Best blackberry ice cream around. Before she was born I did all my flight training (private, instrument, start of commercial) at Frederick. Place has changed a lot since the 80's.

Went out and found two of my favorites: Grab. . . .
They either used a plasma torch, and steady hand. . . . or a water jet, being that the top rail is steel.
The "little shack" that goes with the gate. . . .
. . . .and, my other favorite gate. I took a bad pic; it says "HOLLOW POINT RANCH".
