A dirt road with a speed limit sign? ???
Utah, go figure. It's considered to be "inside the city limits", but you might not want to try calling for a tow there.

I was out today and took a bunch of pictures, rode 225 miles, but no windmills. Bunch of gas wells tho.

Some help: There are three on Carr Drive in Slidell. There is a big one at the base of the Causeway Bridge in Mandeville. An authentically scaled Dutch windmill stands in its brilliant tulip garden on the River Road (Hwy. 65) near Louisiana's Dutch Gardens, Newellton, La.

Grab! Here is a picture of the windmill. Took me awhile to find it, but I finally found one at a garden center.

Then of course the tag shot. Since there has been a discussion on posing, or the art of being a poser or poseur, I thought the next shot should be an appropriate one of posing.

I picked an HD dealer as an example, other locations, that are commonly accepted as posing locations are also acceptable.

:D

Good pose Tom. Standing on the pegs, at the HD dealer, and bonus points for being on the center stand while doing it! ::008:: Awesome!

Maybe we can get some new folks in the TAG game with this tag. Starbucks, (or any coffee shop), perhaps some famous biker location like Alice's Restaurant or the Rock Store? Lots of good places to pose. The HD dealership was priceless, that could be done by nearly anyone too.

My golf course is being remodeled and they are tearing down the lockers, so I had to bring my clubs home, so no more commuting to the golf!!!! This is a major life changing event, damn! Driving the truck to play golf is so UN FUN!.

Lee Travino only needed an old coke bottle. How many clubs do you really need? Grab the 7 iron, strap it to the bike and go play.

That probably would improve my game, do doubt. I usually play about 3 times a week which was day rides with some exploring, so has left a big gap in my riding for sure. I will figure it out.

Speaking of 7 irons...

Back when I was a kid, and actually played some golf, we used to have a couple of cool games we played - one called "Three Club" and the other "One Club" - that were pretty self-explanatory. I used either a 7 iron or a 5 iron for "One Club", depending on the course. "Three Club" was actually a bit more of a challenge, mainly in choosing the right three clubs. The best round of golf I ever shot was playing "Three Club", which just goes to show two things...

Indeed, sometimes "Less is More"... And that I was never that great a golfer! :D

TENTATIVE grab:
I'm not going to get a chance to post a new tag till at least tomorrow night, so if somebody else can post a posing shot and new tag before-hand, they can have the tag. If nobody else posts, here is the grab and I'll post a new one tomorrow, as I didn't have a chance to shoot a new tag when we had to head home yesterday.

My son is starting to think about what will replace his old VStrom next spring, so we borrowed a GS-Adventure and MultiStrada for a test ride. We felt like total poseurs when sitting at a light on the way back and a kid on a well-worn DRZ rode by and actually shook his head. You go kid - ride on!
::001:: ::012::

So that is my Tenere with the gloves on the tank and Tim trying the Strada:

That's last year's 'Strada and NICE bike and we both liked it a lot. The one that is just coming out has some GREAT improvements, such as adding 2" to the length of the front seat, which makes a difference to my husky 6'3" kid.

Other than the wonderful BMW suspension and marginally better stock windshield (which is regularly replaced), neither of us had a good thing to say about the R1200GSA after riding the Strada and Tenere. This gelandes-panzer was a brand new bike.

You hit my soft spot with the MTS12! My next bike to test ride is the MTS12 2013 model, then sit back and listen/watch how they do with new owners. Ducati has made some positive changes with dual spark and new angle of injectors plus better wind protection/adjustment. I feel they still have some reliability issues tho, only time will tell.

That's just wrong. I so totally didn't pose at the Starbucks yesterday, hoping you would have a good tag for the weekend.

Now I'm going to have to go back, or to the HD dealer, (no BBQ on weekdays), and pose there.

Don't you have some yard art or something in the driveway you can post for a tag? The neighbors yard? help a guy out here!

Think Man! You must have something. Streets that start with a " " or something?

Your bike in a garage?

You're wife posing with your bike?

Your Super Ten next to the trash can?

Something!

Oh the humiliation.
This is SO wrong.
But since you asked, my friend...
O:)
The new tag is your bike with at least one tire of another bike. The tire of the other bike can of course be mounted and on the bike, as opposed to the KLR tire leaning loosely against mine.

Eric, you're just a slave driver.

I'm in luck! - Maybe...

I drove my bike into to work today, 1/2 block away there is street motorcycle parking. But since it is raining.... ::017:: I'll just have to brave the elements at noon and see what I can do.
