Yamaha OEM engine guard light bracket

I used Yamaha OEM engine guards (crash bars) on my bike. Now I'm looking to add lights. I bought the PIAA Super tenere kit but those are meant to be mounted under the headlights and not to the crash bars. I was told that PIAA builds the Yamaha lights so I assumed (wrongly) the brackets would be included.

The crash bars have two threaded fasteners that must be for the OEM lights. Is it possible to find brackets that will hold my PIAAs? I know I can get hoop clamps for the lights but would prefer to use the fasteners built into the bars. Can anyone shed some light on this (pardon the pun).

Check these out on the Yamaha motorcycle accessories webpage. Yamaha p/n DBY-ACC56-24-07. They are a clamp on style made for the PIAA lights.

Did your light kit came with these mounts?
https://www.amazon.com/74300-Bracket-Yamaha-Super-Tenere/dp/B007GR3R3C

Or these:

Note that both brackets claim to be for under the nose mounting, but are different shapes at the rear of the mount. The pictures below show a bracket bolted to the bar, but it's difficult to tell which one.

It did come with the mounts listed in your first link. I thought those were meant for locating the driving lights under the headlights and not the crashbar?

I added a couple more things to my post above. There appear to be two different brackets, though both are being referred to as under the nose mounts. The pictures I found on Google Images show a flat bracket being bolted to the Yamaha bars, but it's difficult to tell which type.

I suspect at this point you will need to use some form of aftermarket clamping bar mount that mates to the 530 bracket, or change to a different set of lights that have a more traditional post mount, which could use any number of tube clamp mounting brackets.

I appreciate the help. The OEM crashbars have two threaded inserts on both sides for light but I'll be damned if I can find a bracket for that. I agree that hoops are my best option now.

Once upon a time the Yamaha light kits that came with Halogen H7 bulbs came with both sets of mounts. Rumbux still offers a light bracket kit for those H7 lights to bolt to a 1" diameter round bar, but they don't fit the PIAA 530 lights. (One customer made them fit, but I don't recommend that) I still have a couple of those mounting bracket sets in stock. :D Probably never sell them now.

I don't think the small 5mm bolt on the OEM bars will hold any decent light. It might be OK for a cheap marker/DRL LED but it will not hold any weight.

Here is my thread from late last year about mounting Cyclops Optimus Lights to the OEM crash bars.
These lights weight about 1kg each.

I used the PIAA mounts. If I had to do it again I probably go with mounts similar to http://stores.advmonster.com/crash-bar-light-mount/
You just have to make sure that you have enough tongue sticking out to mount the light as you are mixing two angles on the S10. Most of these tube mounts sold assume the light will be parallel to the mount and have short tongues to bolt the light onto.

Thanks Gigitt....I'll probably use a trick that I used on my GSPD. The bike uses a metal hoop for the lower fairing that I have purchased extras for light mounts. The hoops are steel, pretty light, very strong, and have a rubber thin insert for antivib. They are around $30 a pair but you must buy the individual piece parts. Old handbar riser spacers are need to complete the install (sleeves and matching bolts).

Here is an example on my GSPD. Both the super T OEM bars and GSPD bars are 1" in diameter (25mm)
