I think this app is pretty new. I'm guessing it will get better, it does record some interesting info: route, distance, time, average speed, top speed, max lean angles, max braking, highest and lowest altitude and max acceleration. While it is European release, it worked fine on my US ride. Not bike or brand specific, Google & Apple.

Sounds like a cool idea. My tinfoil hat worries about it's ability to store information when you do give her some gas, I wonder if there's a way to disable the speedo function or something for us that may ride spirited at times like they say in the article at the end :) I might give the app a try though. Thanks for posting this.

I didn't ''share" my first ride. You can disable speed info if you do share. you can save routes as gpx files too.

I tried to save my rides but when I look under “My rides” it says I don’t have any rides yet. Where do they go?

I've only done one, I think you have to click on "Finish" first, then save. Did it show your route and metrics when you finished one?

Exactly what I did. All the data was there until I “saved” it and twice now it has vanished.

I hope to ride tomorrow. I'll try to pay attention to the close process. My first one saved ok, after it prompted me that I had an unfinished ride. They seem very responsive to comments in the Google store feedback.

I've used it on a ride this past Sunday. It has good info, but had to delete as it recorded a speed that was double the legal limit...... Not sure how that came about. O:)

I'm with you on that. In these days of cyber insecurity the thought of having that info just hanging around out there (allegedly secure or not) seems a risk. Imagine your insurance company finding out just how much of a risk you really are? Any of us can inadvertently speed but having an app that stores this fact is snooping with your permission!

Now, where did I put my tin foil hat...?

The app is similar to Rever and ESR App.

There's just so many 'motorcycle' apps coming out these days.

I always enter bogus details about me, wrong age, name, bike I ride, alternative email address etc. so who cares?

Fair enough, we all weigh up risks, take the appropriate measures and then act as we see fit. It's amazing just how personalised even anonimised data can be with patterns and such like. I don't have a Facebook account but my partner gets suggestions on her Facebook feed which mirror things I've looked at on eBay etc. Stuff that she has no interest in but I have browsed that same day. I know how it happens. I didn't give them permission to report on my browsing activities but because it is anonimised it's acceptable.

You can borrow my tin foil hat if you like...?!

I think the trick is to check the block for default when you select whether to keep it private or share on the save screen. I saved my second ride with it and went back and forth several times before getting it saved.
