Had the grips installed and the throttle is stiffer and it appears to me to be caused by the housing used by Yamaha on the throttle side. Any one run into this?

If you are noticing a stiffer feel at the throttle I would not blame the housing necessarily but a disassembly and reassembly to verify the wire placement within the housing may be in order.

The most likely cause is some binding or mis-routing of the wire slack in the housing. Also make sure you have the grommets correctly positioned. If you take it apart and reassemble, I'd bet your problem will be solved.

And don't forget a dab of moly grease as indicated in the instructions.
