Since we are all more or less Yamaha minded on this forum I’d like to show you guys my latest addition.
A 1970 Yamaha FS1-P in Dutch version.
50cc 4speed with 16mm Mikuni setup.
Runs like a dream. Tops out at approximately 70km/h.

Yeah they do, especially in the UK I noticed. They are a few grand cheaper over here. Fun to ride, but she’s a heavy drinker.

The FS1E has become the Raleigh Chopper of light motorcycles, at least here in the UK. There is a fair chance anyone who graduated into biking in the 70s probably started out in one of these, or a close cousin from one of the other Jap factories, which translates into these becoming an expensive piece of memorabilia, if you are that way inclined.
