I think you are the first to execute that change. The dashboard is necessary to control the electronic suspension, but the Z's dashboard has hidden menus. The only reference case I can tell you is the heated grips. Z users, connected heated grips to the heated grip connector that comes with the Z, and the menu to control the grips appeared on the dashboard (but the grip system is simpler than the suspension system)...In case of the suspension control menu...I don't think anyone knows if it will appear on the dashboard when you connect everything .
The pic you sent is of the SCU, what we do not know is if the ZE ECU has different software than the Z, which allows the SCU to be managed….
You probably got everything from a ZE, but it shouldn't take you long to execute the project. If you need something else (that you don't have)...as long as the donor is still available, it will be easy to get it, if the donor disappears, I don't think it will be easy for you to get something you need (unless you find another donor).
The problem is to visualize on the dashboard the adjustments you make in the suspension... You could make the adjustments the same (energizing the electric motors), but you would not be able to know what position you are in... it would all be very manual style... but without references
I don't know what you expect from a ZE suspension... but personally I think it's not an improvement in itself... The electronic control allows you to stiffen or soften the suspension "shift on the fly".... but only rebound and compression together, and what It is not very good because it does it on both wheels equally (if you travel loaded and want to reduce the rebound in the rear axle, the front axle could become too hard)...the preload is the same in both, the ideal is to do it with motorcycle on the center stand, so as not to break the gears or the knob)….
