Wunderlich GPS Mount - has anyone installed ?

Just wondering whether anyone has had any experience with using the Wunderlich GPS Mount ... I understand this is also rebadged by Hepco & Becker as well.

I'm looking for something that is able to be used with the standard OEM large screen together with the OEM side wind deflectors and be relatively stable but without say the "engineering" of the Touratech unit. I note the Wunderlich mount also uses the top bezel push stud mounting hole and I hope this just might provide a little more bracing.

Naturally all feedback is especially appreciated.

I just installed the Touratech set up and could answer any questions regarding it. What are you referring to with the "engineering" ?cost?

Ditto on the TT mount for my Garmin. Yeah, its typically german over engineered, but its solid, works well, is secure (provided you buy the locking bits) and only requires a masters in engineering to mount, as opposed to a PhD.

Realizing this is pointless information to the OP, i beg forgiveness for this transgression...
