WTB: OEM header

Hit a big ass rock on a gravel road and bashed in one headpipe (through the H&B skidplate...).

Hoping to find a takeoff from someone who upgraded to aftermarket headers.

Would be interested in stock muffler also for spare but need the header for sure.

Andy, I smashed a header on a rock as well...JRA (just riding along). Curious, can you post a picture? My dent was on the the "rider's right" pipe directly in front of the toe guard, on the bottom opposite the sensor. I would also be curious to see the plate. Good luck on finding a reasonable price, sure someone has a set sitting in a box somewhere, I am waiting to really booger mine up before buying new ones.

I already beat the plate out when I changed the oil on my trip. I'll get a pic and post when I change out the header. The smashed in pipe was drivers left.

Considering the bike went from 55 to 50 in an instant and it felt like the rear tire came off the ground I wasn't that surprised.

If I hadn't had the plate I'm quite sure the sump would have been broken and/or the pipe would have been flattened all the way. As it was I rode it home from Canada with the dent in the header.

I ***MAY*** be offering my stock headers for sale. I have a set of Arrow headers here I plan to install as soon as I decide who to have do the ceramic coating and get it done. I was planning on keeping my stock header pipes, but if you really need 'em I don't want to hold up another S-10 rider from being on the road.

How much do you want to spend?

Note: My bike has nearly 22,000 miles on it, and would probably have some more by the time I could ship. However, they are in perfect shape, with no dings or damage. Needless to say, they have been heat-cycled a bunch of times, and should be about as *stress relieved* as they could be!

I've got my OEM's I could offer. They were take-off's at 1,500 miles when I went with the Arrow's. I've also got my stock pipe if interested, too.
