Well, yesterday I was on the freeway and there were some ding bats driving about -55. So I think well let me get around these guys and get where I gotta be. So I down shift a gear and roll on the coal, shift back to sixth and before I know it, she is at 101MPH and still pulling like she wants to get up and run, run, run..... WOW!! Chopped her back down to 70 in the blink of an eye. I love this bike more and more every time I ride her!!! By the way, how fast will these things go?? ::021::

Umm.. 124 on Highway 50 across Nevada by gps. Or so I've heard. 2012 that is.

At that speed you where probably doing 10mph less than the speedo was showing, get a satnav for an accurate speed ::001:: or a cop. C

Yep. I been shocked @ the Speedo a few times too. But the biggest surprise was when I accidentally changed it to kph instead of mph...

Saw a 101 on my speedo at the weekend coming back from Luxembourg (a quick blat to catch up with my mates)- the sat-nav showed highest speed of 95 when I looked at it.

One of those bikes I am not bothered about maxing out, mine with Arrow headers and ECU-U flash is about 10BHP up on stock and pulls quite hard to an indicated 120 ish, I would guess it would pull past 130 on the speedo easily enough.

Getting to 130 on the speedo takes forever...past 125 is like hitting a brick wall.
