I know it's a waste of time to be an armchair quarterback about a game that the rules make more pussified every year, but come on. I understand the incomplete pass ruling, IF, the player loses the ball as he hits the ground, but if your knee hits first, the play should be OVER.

The call was correct with respect to the rules. Certainly pivotal to outcome of the game. keeping control all the way to ground has been a long standing rule. Had he made a few steps before going to the ground it would have been considered a catch.

Honesty I don' think either team would beat Seattle....but we shall see.

I think for Green Bay to have any chance of beating Seattle Rodgers needs to be fully fit. The 'legion' will certainly pick up on his lack of mobility. Still, there's a week to heal, will it be enough ? Should be a cracking game !

offcamber, he took three steps before changing hands with the ball. it was a catch, it was another bad call by bad officials (that are human)that even with replay cant get it right...some will say its payback for the bad call the cowboys got in the lions game....why do we have replay if they can not use it correctly... that was a catch(three steps) he changed hands with ball(demonstrating control) and when ball hit ground it poped loose(down by contact) the ground can not cause a fumble... oh well it is just a game, the sun is going to come up, and we all have to live our lives... cant blame romo for this..... ride safe ya'll...

The rule says they have to maintain control all the way to the ground....he didn't. Apparently the official disagrees with you about the steps. Its arguable whether he was demonstrating control or juggling it. I'd have to look at it again myself. I was suprised when it was overturned however.

We can argue to the end of time.....the officials made a call you either agree with it or not. Maybe its Karma because of the blown pass interference call in the previous game....

Nothing new here. Winners think the call was right and losers blame the loss on the call. Blaming the referees is the job of a real loser. Maybe if the Cowboys would have played better, they would have won. How about that? Don't count on a 4th down Hail Mary pass with a jump-ball catch to put you over the top and you take the refs right out of the game. I'm a fan of neither team, but the game was called fairly, and the Cowboys blew it. They didn't make plays when it counted most. Game over. Crying won't change a thing.

Not only do I watch it but I actually used to play the damn game ! Many moons ago I was a wide receiver for the Newcastle Browns (a pun on the local ale of the same name 'Newcastle Brown Ale'). We were rubbish to be fair and went down 0 - 8 in our only season, we were keen amature's and some of the guys we were up against were ex US and Canadian pro footballers - men against boys doesn't do it justice. Good fun though, although now I'm just wide....

I've just finished off watching the Colts - Bronco's game, I though Indianapolis were better but the Bronco's (Manning) looked tired and out of ideas ? Just me ?

I believe we've witnessed the last of Peyton's physical greatness. Kinda hope he hangs it up.

As for the Cowboys, not a catch but they had a great run and when they do well, the NFL does well so hats off to Jerry for putting together a decent team. If they add to the defense in the off season, Cowboys should be favorites to win the East next year.

Peyton has been hurt for a few weeks now, Fox (head coach) and Denver parted ways.

I think Denver need a bit of a clear out, fresh blood and some new ideas. Could make them stronger, given time.
