Turnkey S10 ready for whatever adventure your heart desires.
As much as I love the S10, it's not the most appropriate bike for my current riding needs. I picked it up about a year ago when I moved from the SF Bay Area to the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington. I was expecting I'd be doing more longer trips primarilly on paved roads through the cascades. However, I've since realized that most of the riding will be closer to home on forest service roads. Certainly the S10 can handle them, but I'm thinking a dual sport will be a better bike for me given my skill set and the riding conditions.
If I could add a second bike to the stable, I'd much prefer to do that. (Anyone selling a 250 - 400 cc dual sport for under $2k?)
I'll post more pics in the next couple of days, but just wanted to get things started. This is a well farkled bike in great condition. It's got easily $3000 in accessories.
Currently just under 20k miles. Recent oil, oil filter, shaft drive oil, brake and clutch fluid change. Spark plugs looked brand new when I got the bike at 16k miles.
Everything works as it should. The front brake switch recall affecting cruise control will be done on or around April 11th.
I've got a handful of spare parts (brake pads, spark plugs, other random things that I can't remember).
Off the bat some of the farkles include:
SW-Motech luggage
Givi windscreen
Winglets
Dash fill panel
Rigid Auxiliary driving / fog lights (just replaced both under warranty after one failed after 8 years)
Headlight protector
Rumbux crash guards / skid plate (if you're not familiar with these search the forum. They're pretty badass.)
Admore lightbar in rear - great visibility!
Speed bleeders
Bar riser (I forget the brand at the moment, but I've got the original box)
Cyclops LED headlights
This bike is in great shape and has been meticulously maintained and definitely not abused.
Clean title in hand.
Asking $10,700 obo. Willing to work with you if you're out of the area.
Would consider trade (plus cash on your end) for possibly a T7, maybe a 650 dual sport (DR650, XR650L), or a 350 - 450 cc dual sport. I might consider a Versys X300, but lighter is better for me.
