No, what I posted is what the media is puting out. . . . Pfizer says "yes", government says "we're not sure, lets look at is some more." I understand there's the correct process that has to be followed. But, for or against the vaccine, it's working. Will there be side effects? We'll see. But, initially, that's why there was a two shot requirement. So your body could remember how to make the antibodies. That's why we get flu shots each year, our body "forgets" how to make the specific antibodies. And, the flu changes from year to year, so they have to pick which version they think it will be. I'm with Eville Rich, it only makes sense that a booster is required. I guess that if you came in contact with the virus, and you're vaccinated, your body is making the antibodies, and everything is good. So, if you occasionally come in contact with the virus, would your body remember to keep making antibodies? If that's the case, it would be possible to not need a booster since continuous contact would keep the antibodies produced.
My opinion. . . . "they" planned on everybody getting vaccinated, which would have all but ended the virus in that first year. But, here we are, with a huge amount of people refusing to get the shot. The booster is likely to be required, because we're nowhere near done with the virus.
