I am a bit confused about the Altrider rear brake master cylinder guard. Their site says it only fits 2014 and newer models. Searching around here has turned up several threads where 2012 S10s have been sold with Altrider guards. Others have 2012 owners buying takeoffs from other bikes.
I don't know if Altrider changed the part since then or if they just don't know the guards still fit 2012 model. I emailed them to ask and the reply was no help whatsoever (thanks Morgan :
). A friend of mine has had his 2012 S10 a while and thinks the part will fit.
So, I'm curious to hear what the collective thinks. Anyone bought one for their 2012 recently and had any issues with fitment?
