Hahaha! Not really, Rod.

I was making a comparo on how much money it takes to put a smile on my face. This bike, money notwithstanding is one of the best purchases I've ever made. It just gets better every mile I put on it. My last ride a few weeks ago cemented my opinion on every aspect of the bike. For me it simply couldn't get better. I think I'll keep it for a while. ;D

Need to meet up for coffee someday.

Malcolm Smith, Mert Lawwill and Steve McQueen...what a great movie. OAS, free on HULU.

The January 2012 issue of Cycle World has a great article reminiscing about the movie and the riders involved in the film. Includes some pics and current comments from Malcolm Smith, Mert Lawwill and Bruce Brown. Worth reading.

Sounds good! Another thread here started by Bob down in Denver that wants to take a look at my Givi Trekkers and the Caribou bags. I suggested he come up sometime and meet the two of us for breakfast and he can see both setups.
