I'm not entirely sure I understand the question.

Yamaha have tucked the aux light leads under the RH panel - you may have found these already. It is a 3-pin affair (the 4-pin plug is for heated grips on non-ES, redundant strangely on ES bikes) The plug elements, male & female should all be there; the male element has 3 black blanking plugs. Ease the connector apart & you will be left with the leads arriving into the female part. Yamaha lights are plug&play. Otherwise, all you need are 3 male AMP crimp connectors & some rubber sleeves to waterproof the plug, when connecting to after-market lights. Google/eBay will oblige - just search 'AMP Connectors'.

However, if your female plug has gone AWOL - some lazy dealers have been known to just chop off the Yamaha plug entirely & connect up the lights with spade/bullet crimps, terminal block connectors or even solder the leads directly - surely there are a variety of ways to address the issue. Just check out the various connectors available with these guys (formerly Tyco) : -

Good luck - I hope this helps ...................... KEN

^^^^^ What Ken said, I have had the lazy dealer experience first hand on the first S10, completely cut the wires, right back to the sleeves...... ::010::

I have the female plug with the black rubber blanks but no pins so I can use it, I know in the US Eastern Beaver do the pins or a prewired female plug. I've fitted a sat nav and taken power by splicing into the leads before the plug but I'm looking to add lights and would rather use the plug but where do I get the pins?

I used these..

Just do what Squibb suggested, take off the male end, remove the blanking grommets and use the pins that come with the connectors that I listed, I also made tiny holes in the blanking grommets push the wires through, solder the pins to the wires push the grommets down, lock the the pins in place and then the grommets back in the holes, sealed!

Ah the good Tamiya battery connector, forgotten about those, I'm sure I've got some spares from when I made up some Optimate charging leads, cheers Dogdaze ::008::
