Hi Rob/everyone,
Well I went to Newtown yesterday to check out the bikes, the 2010 model of practically indistinguishable from new and stunning tbh, however the 15 plate makes more sense for my needs so I’ve bought it!
It’s having new tyres fitted tomorrow and will be ready for collection Saturday.
It rode beautifully.
Thanks for your replies all, really appreciated.

Perhaps we can meet up for a spin one day Rob when you get your bike back on the road
yes,
pissed off to be honest, the fork leak i had didn,t look bad, but the mechanic who had it on the bench said i was wasting my money changing them as he thought it would go again in no time, so it cost me £100 and a ride for nothing,
anyway he pointed me in the direction of a company called PITTED FORKS i contacted them and they said it was £470 to collect, strip re hard chrome , rebuild with ew oil and seals i sent bushes up with the forks as well, plus delivery back price supeeb but 10 week time scale, so hoping i get them back a bit quicker
so bikes up on blocks till it comes back, is what it is had this beaut for 9 and a half yrs and love it, its my last bike so they need doing

How come the wait is so long Rob is it because of the Racing Season ?

Hi Rob,
Yes, the ride home was great, had brand new tyres on so had to be a little careful.
Looking forward to getting to know it over the next few weeks.
Very comfortable and plenty of torque, it’s gonna make a great tourer.
