Thanks Nanko!!! Where do you reside?
i haven't officially given up my Texas citizenship, but i'm currently working in bowling green, ky. and this is where all the bikes are so i'm pretty much here all the time. ;)

i have no children of my own, but my girlfriend has a nine y/o boy. we've been dating for 5 years so he's pretty much me and i proudly claim him as my own.

A group of friends and I have planed a one month trip next july to leave Pennsylvania and ride to California. Then up the pacific coast to Canada then double back through Canada to the east coast. I'm so stoked. I'm 32 years old and have never seen the Rocky mountains! I have flown out west to California and Nevada plenty of times but have never driven west of the mississippi. I can't wait! :D

so much to see between PA and CA. even the land between the big lakes has plenty to see, if you're not in a big damn rush. no worries, though. once you've been there, i'm sure it won't be your last trip west.

The Blue Ridge Parkway, Deal's Gap, Va., W Va. and Ft. Benning Ga. for a reunion. My dream ride would be NC to Alaska and back.

Devil,

While you are on your way out here, look me up I may have some place to throw a tent or sleeping bag for a night or so. It is amazing to travel with help from Forums like this. I started attending a forum in 1995 and met alot of people from around the USA that way. Many great people are here.

I had planned on taking my DL 1000 out West next summer, but I'll just have to settle for my new S10, instead. I know, I know, it'll be a tough job, but that's what I do! A good friend in WI is interested in riding with me, so maybe we'll get out to Glacier and Yellowstone and loop back through Colorado. A couple of weeks would be nice. Camping, etc.

Rode out to SD this past summer (not during Sturgis), and had a blast. Jumped over to Wyoming to check out Devils Tower. Loved the twisty, Spearfish Canyon road that runs along the river.

My first trip depending on when I get my delivery will be a ride from Southwestern PA to the Georgia Mountain Rally. Its a great rally and I want to see the Beemer boys react to my Tenere.

Prudhoe Bay Alaska is on my bucket list (or more specifically, the Dalton Highway!)

I've lived my entire life in the Southwest, and there's still a lot of it I haven't seen, so I'll be trying to get out on as many day and weekend trips as I can.

First, a few day rides to get it broken in. If I get it in time, we'll take it to Tennessee in June. Then hopefully Nova Scotia a couple months later.

Not sure where I will go first (besides home from the dealer - the LONG way). I have a major trip planned in June to Nelson BC, but the S10 will hardly be delivered by then so I will be riding the FJR for that trip. I'm guessing most of 2011 will be just moderately long trips.

I am lucky to live in Socal, San Diego to be specific and we have some great riding in our local mountains and Deserts all within a short distance. Some of my favorite routes include: Palomar mountain, old 94, Sunrise highway, Ortega highway, Laguna mountain, Pine creek, Boulder creek, Salton Sea, Japatul and Honey Springs. These are my local day ride areas and what most of my riding on the new S10 will be on.

I do plan on some longer travels out to Death Valley, Kings Canyon, Sequioa Natl forest, Big Sur and Moab.

Second week of June to Colorado for the Colorado 500 Road Ride. Maybe the Smokey Mts the end of July-1st of August. I have a friend coming from England. He wants to go to Sturgis, but I will attempt to change his direction.

Great. You get to bring me a couple bar-room fish sandwiches from any Pub around Pittsburgh. Cocktail sauce on the side. For that, you got a place to put your head down somewhere other than TWO. Haven't had one since I left years ago.

Actually, I've already proclaimed to my bride that one of my first rides will be to Pittsburgh to sample said fish sandwiches. She suggested - quite pointedly - therapy.

Also on the list are the Mustard Museum, and the International Pancake Day celebration. Haven't figured out what to do for National Bacon Week just yet...
