Took myself to Wheels Through Time and Tail of the Dragon. Left Friday afternoon and back Sunday evening. Maybe 1300 miles or so altogether. Poor Mitas E07+s were screaming in pain at the tail. Saved a few times when it started to tuck under me up front. CBR600 behind me we was kinda shocked on pace, even more so when he saw the tires and again when it was my first blind pass. My rear is toast though only after 8K miles. Front still had life but wearing weird. Maybe going motors adv or gps rear next.
Also seat recommendations? After about 3 hours back side was a sore. Feels like I need a bit larger and softer padding.

Did about 120 miles today Oct 20th. All rural West Virginia. Really liking the 1200 but definitely gotta find another seat
I had the same issue with my seat, had to take a break at 110 miles or so. I bought a Sargent seat and very happy with it. I did a 158 mile ride yesterday and no PIA issues. :)

That was my issue. 120ish miles, I would like a quick break. 170, I want a break. 210, break is required now, but atleast it matches up with gas. I'm going either to a local guy and getting some extra foam/gel or getting a Russell. But I still like throwing the big girl off road and twisties so it's a balance

Had my first tank slapped on the way home from Wales yesterday. Doing about 120mph with Anakee wilds and fully loaded panniers and top box. Silly really but it was the bloke in the Mercedes fault. No good shutting throttle or braking hard. The only way out was to very gradually reduce throttle and gently apply rear brake.
