Finally got clearance from the doctor to ride again. Had a neck fusion done three months ago, and the doctor said I couldn't screw up his work anymore. Overdid it a bit by riding almost 300 miles yesterday, but with 4 stops and walking around, it wasn't bad at all. Well, the aspirin today is solving that, and yes, it was worth it. Just staying away from any off road for several more months.

Best part was no more stabbing pain in the neck when I raised my hand above my shoulder while riding, and my right hand didn't go numb after 15 minutes of riding. ::018::

So where did I take it? Descanso Junction/Palomar mountain/Julian.. Great day for riding!

Did 533 miles including some dirt in the GA, NC and TN mountains on Saturday. Perfect day and never seen that many Teneres on these roads. Here is a picture at the end of the "Road to Nowhere" near Bryson City

My boys and I went to Kerrville TX this last week end. Anybody that has been to this area knows how FANTASTIC the roads are. It is the first time that I've been able to put the bike trough its paces. A Tenere can keep up with an R6 on 39 West out of Kerrville. Sort of....Tires needs more tread width; no more chicken strips. The weather limited the amount of "enthusiasm" that was allowed. Still had fun on 39, 27, 83, and 16 up to Enchanted Rock. Will definitely return when the weather is more conducive to spirited riding. Only saw one Tenere, 60th Anniversary, the whole weekend. WTF? ::26::

On Sunday I took my S10 on a run that followed the river Tweed, starting at tweedsmuir, and ending up at Berwick on the east coast, and a visit to Bamburgh castle ::001::

I keep promising myself a ride round Scotland but somehow never find the right time. Do you have any recommendations for best time of year, like weather, fewer tourists and midges?

I went on an Iron Butt "Tour of Honor" ride, in an attempt to get all 7 memorials in the state of New Mexico. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and I had to cut it short after 740 miles, due to accessive snow and wind. :'( ::001::

9/11 memorial

Veterans memorial

Peace officer memorial, (one badass sherriff that held off 80 cowboys intent on breaking their buddy out of jail)

Finally managed to get out after months of 12-14 hour days and crap weather weekends. Nice jaunt followed by the aches and pains associated with being so ride unfit. But on the upside she's ready for our Scotland trip in May ::012:: Didn't really have anywhere picturesque to stop so these will have to do!!

WINDY ride down I-15 to Barstow. Camping at the BLM free primitive campground lost out to the Super 8 due to the wind. 40 mph gusting winds do not make for a pleasant tent camping experience.

Been there, done that. It's quite the experience to be pinned into your cot by the tent wall as the wind is howling. Good news is that it should be much calmer today and tomorrow, but it's supposed to pick back up on us here in Vegas starting Sunday.

I took her back today where i crashed her 2 weeks ago - in terrible mud - and ripped off my engine guards...
Installed the new AltRider guards and just had to go back - anxiety therapy LOL
Northern Colorado, Rocky Mountains, Front Range - still quite some snow up there.

Happy and safe riding everybody!

Took a ride, with the wife, out to Cleburne State Park. ANOTHER beautiful day; 83* and 30% humidity. (Our 100* days will be here soon enough) I don't ride to great places everyday, but I ride almost everyday. ::001::
