I came from my Sister's place south of there, went in on Alum Rock Rd. Took a bit over two hours from 680 to 5. Man, what a blast.

I put on about 210 miles today. Me and my dad (FJ-09) rode from Sioux Falls, SD to Spirit Lake, IA to eat at Taco House for the last time of the season. My bike also hit 1000 miles, and I was lucky enough to glance down and savor the moment! Today was a good day.

Rode 200+ miles to meetup with a couple riders. We met at Priest Station & Cafe at Old Priest Grade and CA-120... west side of Yosemite. Beautiful weather, roads, and enjoyed the company.

I rode about 150 miles on Wisconsin rustic roads and ended up in Lake Geneva at Conference Point, and took a great picture with my awesome wife of 27 years. She is amazing..couldn't do life without her!

Highway 128 in Northern California, end to end, Albion on the coast to Winters in the Central Valley. What an awesome road. I'd been on the eastern end many times, never went all the way to the coast.

Saw a destroyed naked bike of some sort, I mean destroyed, pieces all over the road, engine, frame, and rear wheel in the left hand ditch, no sign of the front end, no emergency vehicles yet, motorists were putting out flares; west bound bike caught the front corner and tire of an east bound motorhome in a corner. Somebody went over the line. The rider was assisted sitting up wrapped in a blanket on the shoulder. A second motorhome was stopped in front of the one with the crunched front end and flat tire, it may have had a new scrape down the side.
Be careful my friends. ::26:: O:)

Not today, but yesterday ...about 265 miles up to Carhenge via Scottsbluff, then about 285 back home via Sidney. Perfect day. Met a couple of nice fellas, one on an FJR and the other on a Star cruiser at a gas station in (IIRC) Bridgeport, NE. The FJR rider was nearly as interested in owning a Ténéré as I've become in owning an FJR.

About nine hours, door-to-door. The Ténéré was faultless (of course).

Not today, but weekend before last (Sept 9/10/11) went to Colorado and rode almost 1300 miles in three days in the mountains. Had a great time from Denver to Durango and many points in between. Saw a lot of Tenere's out on the roads. Saw one riding with an FJR, a black one riding solo thru a canyon and a red one parked out side of a restaurant. I saw more than that over the three days. If this was one of you on the forum, please PM me.

Here in Connecticut... this morning was chilly to say the least! Outside Air registered at 40 degrees and had the Oxford Heated Grips up to 50%! An Eye Opener and Tear Maker

I took my bike to work today ... actually to a football game West Texas A&M at Oklahoma Panhandle State in the Goodwell, OK. Not exactly Ohio State at Wisconsin but it's college football on a Saturday afternoon and it pays my salary!
