Bombay Mine Trail. I had only done this once a few years ago. We had rain the last couple days so the sandy wash start had me wondering. Dodged quite a few water holes.

Look for the bike...

Nature shots. The hawk was circling above the butte, checking me out. Better than the vultures.

Another trip out to Apache Lake. Big news if you are familiar with the Apache Trail (AZ Rt 88). They are getting ready to pave the road from Lake Roosevelt to Apache Lake. Good for the businesses at Apache Lake. Mixed feelings as I loved the old dirt trail. However, it will be a rocking paved ride. My prediction is someone will go over the edge within a month after pavement is opened. They are supposed the be reopening the closed section to Fish creek as a "high clearance" trail. Maybe by next year??

I love this as a dirt-road..................one of my favorites in AZ.
Wishing they would leave it as a dirt road...................
I get why they are paving it though. Lots of boat-trailer traffic along that stretch.
Hoping they reopen the Fish Creek Hill section too, and will ride it again next time I'm down there.

I hope you don't mind if I didn't go on my S10 but I took my two kids with me to Moto Guzzi museum and they would not fit on the bike lol....20240406122250_IMG_0367 (1).JPG20240406122217_IMG_0366 (1).JPG

I am not an expert but I have seen some bikes I didn't even know they were made by Moto Guzzi ( shame on me ).
Definitely a place worth to be checked out in my opinion.

Great photos, thanks for sharing. They have a "Moto Guzzi Experience" which is an international gathering with riders and their Guzzis from around the world visiting the factory and going on group rides too.
