Just some info. I have been farkling the bike in preparation for a 5000km vacation over 10-11 days with two friends. I currently have the bike prepared and have purchased ultralight camping equipment for our trip as well as we will be both camping and hoteling it.
I currently have around 2200km and am wondering if I should be getting the throttle bodies synced before the trip. we leave on the 24th of June. I have had 2 oil changes and one differential oil change. The bike seems to run quite well, but I know I will be over the recommended service interval if I don't do it now. Thoughts?
The dealer recommends to try to get 3000km and then get it done and also get an oil change done as well.

Thanks. I will book it in the week before I leave.
If you can get your hands on a TB sync its a really simple task. Takes longer to lift the tank than it does to actually do the sync. Also you can do the adjustment thats in the mods section and really smooth out the motor at low rpm while you're in there.

Start to finish for me was about 30 minutes and that including a lot of screwing off while I did it.

Out of curiosity - What does the dealer charge for a sync? 1hr? 2hrs?

Sounds like someone needs to bring their tools to Dawsonville for a little wrenching for a free lunch...... ;D

Not a problem. I've gotta run to McDonough this Saturday but I believe I'm free on Sunday if it's not raining. TB Sync is still in the top case as a matter of fact... ::008::

Unfortunately I can't get access to a TB sync unit. Not sure what the dealer charges for a sync, but I think I will let them do this one regardless. I have been watching patiently on adv rider for the Harmonizer to become available again.
