So I would like to get one and wondering when the next time dealers can order and possibly take delivery.
Thanks

Ouch, lets say worse case scenario and they do not offer it again in the USA, how will that affect getting parts for those that currently have one?Buckeye56 said:All I have heard is Yamaha is pleased by the number of Teneres sold on the PDP. But so far there has been no word on a second go round. It will depend on how committed they are to the adventure touring segment and if they made enough money to continue to ofer the bike in the US. I certainly hope so as I am very happy with mine!
No, like the self service thing, it is mandated that they parts support it. Everyone is mandated to parts support their products. I believe the minimum time is seven years. Only someone going out of business would not exceed that. At that point, all bets are off.hojo in sc said:Ouch, lets say worse case scenario and they do not offer it again in the USA, how will that affect getting parts for those that currently have one?
We will find out at the dealer meeting on Sep 14th.hojo in sc said:So I would like to get one and wondering when the next time dealers can order and possibly take delivery.

If you look on www.cycletrader.com, dealers have posted the ones they have "in stock" even though, as you know, there are none for stock. Seriously: I was amusing myself looking for something else, stumbled into all of these Teneres for sale....hmmm, no stock, huh? Good luck, they're out there for the serious and determined.hojo in sc said:So I would like to get one and wondering when the next time dealers can order and possibly take delivery.

Wow. I had no idea there were so many. So much for being exclusive. I kinda wondered when a member said he ordered one from his dealer a few weeks ago, and got it.Yamaguy55 said:If you look on www.cycletrader.com, dealers have posted the ones they have "in stock" even though, as you know, there are none for stock.
