Just got off the phone with Alex at Konflict Motorsports. Tenere is done - was finished up earlier today. She was well behaved and provided Alex with zero problems during the install.
Now the bike has a Touratech Expedition rear shock and the Hyperpro front springs. Can't wait to test this combo out. Naturally, it's getting down to about 36 on Saturday, so my ride to get the tires swapped will be a chilly-a$$ed affair, and it'll leave me with no real way to test the new boingers. An actual road test shall have to wait...unless I can squeeze one in after work tomorrow...
Gonna feel amazing! I did a similar full suspension upgrade on my FJR (GP Suspension) and it was a night and day difference in the bike. You'd think, nah, not such a big deal...and you'd be dead wrong. For most riders, in most situations, an aftermarket, upgraded suspension will hands down be a better choice (dollars aside, of course).
With the new TKC 80s? Bring it!
