Metzeler Tourances on mine also. Seem to stick well on paved. The 10% dirt side of them will do fine for hard packed dirt roads. 8) Anything other than that for me will require another tire type.

Bridgestones on mine...

They stuck good on the 111 degree hardcopy today

They wouldn't be my first choice...but for the first 100 miles, I like em

Tourance EXPs on mine. Per my dealer, the bikes were slated for the Bridgestone but due to the catastrophe in Japan there was a supply issue so they turned to Metzeler to help out.

Mine came with Battle Wings.

I have the Heidenau Scouts on order, but the rear is backordered to September.

If you don't mind, I'd like to expand on this topic. I have heard people complain about the Bridgestones. I have never had them, so I can't comment. Is there something about them that are less desirable than other tires. i.e Tread life, traction, cupping, etc..

If traction is an issue with these tires, then ABS and Traction control should help the tires do their job more effectively, but if it's something else like cupping; other than a good balance, there's not much you can do.

I don't know what mine has on it yet, but I will know on Friday when I pick it up.

Mets....I'd always preferred Mets, especially in adverse conditions (rain, ice)...haven't spun them enough yet to say yea or nea.

Bridgestones. The first set by that manufacturer that I haven't wanted off the bike in the first ten minutes of use. My past experience with this brand has been less than satisfying. So far, the bridgestones are ok, we'll see how I feel in a month.

Mine came with Shinkos....

Not that there's anything much wrong with the Bridgestones, just that I like the shinkos better on dirt, and they are not too much different to the Bridgestones on tarmac.

Metz's on mine, I like 'em on the road and on gravel and dirt roads. Real single track, sand or serious off-roading will require something a bit knobbier.
