...do I need for moving the lock from my old, damaged side case to my new, pristine side case, supplied by my good friends at State Farm? The smallest driver I have is a T10, and it's too big...

Thanks...

IIRC, they used to be a security T-10. It has a pin in the middle of the fastener that won't allow a standard T-10 to fit into the hole. You can buy individual bits at industrial tool stores and some ACE or Home Depot sell sets.

If you're already using a security bit, I'm no help as I don't have oem boxes.

Lowes had what I needed. Oh, and my dealer neglected to apply threadlocker when they prepped the bike for delivery, despite my request that they do so (big surprise).

Mine too... but they were on the bike when I found it already. they've since rattled apart, I was lucky enough to have them still unlock and the rubber covers on the locks so the parts were not lost forever. loaded all 3 cases with thread locker now.

and ya.. Lowes had a kit of security torx bits that had a T10 that worked for me.
