I'm on the hunt for some Touratech panniers, they seem to pop up often enough on eBay etc but the rails don't, I want black ones or would need to powder coats them black, the issue is there are no rails for the S10 in the UK, they talk about a 6 week wait for them but I know from past experience that they may take a lot longer or may never come at all. What other rails are people using with their TT panniers? Looking for ideas, if I can't get to the bottom of it I'll give up on TT and will look at Givi!

the TT racks are ( for TT) not that expensive , its the boxes that cost real money. the black racks look pretty cool until a little wear occurs then you will wish you bought the silver (SS ) racks. order the racks then when you find that deal jump on the used TT boxes.... just my opinion...

Hi yoyo, i have these for sale,
https://shop.touratech.co.uk/stainless-steel-pannier-rack-for-yamaha-xt1200z-super-tenere.html
£125 plus postage i got them 2nd hand from the forum but went down another route.
As said stainless is best for managing wear and tear.

I have Hepco rails on mine. I have a pair of Ard Case panniers which I kept off my prv bike....1150GS. I prefer the H&B rails as they are symmetric (the left side is about 1cm wider) & I don't like smaller on one side sort of thing. The only problem is they are slightly wider than the handlebars, but careful filtering in traffic is a necessity when fully loaded + my cases are 40ltr and are wide anyways. Another good thing about the H&B are that they are quick release, so on and off in minutes with no tools other than an T5 (think) allen key.
