I've had a number of dogs over the years. They are just great family members.

Nala - the black lab and Zoey - the weimeriener was great. Both have passed on to doggy heaven but lived a good long life. zoey was not very graceful in the water. Nala is just standing there probably thinking "what the heck are you doing". :)

The next 3.
Toby - rescue dog (mixed chocolate lab with something?)
Ruger - mixed lab and maybe a bulldog terrier. He had this "cherry eye" issue so we had the surgery on his eye and got it fixed.
Lilly - my daughters dog. Didn't think I could get use to this little girl, but they grow on you.

Sisters...
Gilee (up front) - Pit/Lab mix. She wandered up to our front door several years ago.
Joey (in the back) - American Bulldog/Australian Shepard mix. Local rescue needed a "temporary" foster - That was 8 months ago :)

Gilee gets very aggravated when Joey gets her "spot" when we go for a drive though...

Gilee looks happy, she's got a big yard and her ball.

Heeler/Aussie shep mix, she was a give away in the local trader at a ripe old age of 2. I am turning her into a trail dog ::012::

Edit, someone mentioned how smart their heeler was. Aussie Shep dogs are known to have the highest understood vocabulary of something like 200 words.

It is a big reason why I wanted a cow dog, fairly easy to train, high energy and crazy smart.
I would embed by my computer is a pos, sorry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahX_zwNM5pI

Although hounds are smarter, they tend to be like a cat, do not play fetch, make you do everything for them other than when they are on a scent.
Here you go Shrek:

Smartest dog ever ??

An old male Chihuahua, that pees' everywhere and a female mutt.
Myself & Littledave have a friend (Billy) who has a rather excitable dog which I've named as an 'Old English piss Hound' ! This thing hoses EVERWHERE, as soon as you ring the bell you can hear the bilge pumps starting up to try to cater for the outflow...

P.S. it's a Springer Spaniel.
