Hi. Doing some wiring and came across this unplugged connector. 2018 UK es bike that runs very well. I haven't noticed any change in performance/operation and everything seems to work. Only work I've had done on it is Dyno ECU remap and I wondered if this had been unplugged because of that. Any ideas appreciated. Many thanks.

the first pic looks like a 02 sensor wire. you can pull on it and trace it down. I just unhooked mine for an experiment. Tabasco has his disconnected. Thought I'd give it a try. Plug from the sensor looks just like that. On my gen1 it has a big white connector to plug it in to.

It looks like one of the two O2 sensor plugs - there will be another (probably unplugged as well) if you trace the wire up from the other sensor in the exhaust. The tuner who reflashed your bike probably turned off the O2 sensors in your ecu and unplugged them. I don't think it matters if they're connected or not because the lambda adaptation tables have been switched off so the ecu isn't looking for the voltage signal coming from them as you ride.
