I’m installing a brake flasher and I noticed a connector underneath the passenger seat – it just dead ends there. There are 4 wires running into a 6 pin conmector
Thats why it indicates which side is up!It is the fall sensor. stop the engine. I think I have read that if the engine stops due to a fall, it does not restart immediately. you have to turn off the key, wait a few seconds and try again
sensor would be badly said, it's more like a switch. The problem is not engine, the problem is the electric fuel pumpHow can it be a sensor, if the wire is just a dead end??
So not only a connector, and not dead end wire?sensor would be badly said, it's more like a switch
Thanks and yeah I didnt tap into it. It looks like your brake wires are are on the right side of the tail, while my 2013 had them on the left side. Oddly enough the wires running towards the taillight under the pilon split before getting all the way back there and looked the same on both sides, until i tracked them all the way to the light.Everybody is right. Both the G-sensor and the diagnostics plug are there. Don't tap into either for your brake flasher.
Unbolt the rear seat and pan. Under the pan are the brake wires.
