I am just trying to see how much it cost for the 6000 miles/10,000km service check for any current yamaha's owners. If you have taken it to your local dealership for its check up.
The owner manual is on the Yamaha web site -> http://www.yamaha-motor.com/assets/service/manuals/2012/2012_SuperTenere_LIT-11626-25-09_1934.pdf

It appears pretty easy with the only tricky parts are the valves (26k miles) and replacing the brakes bits at 2 year mark. (Which I'm sure someone will reply that it is simple, okay then post a video ;D )

I will have the dealer do the 600 miles service, but plan to do the others myself.

ROFLMAO - Replacing the brake bits? You hopefully ride your bike and not let it sit out in the sun in one place for 2 years! There is no reason to replace brake lines until you want s/s braided ones, (not much point with ABS), or they show signs of actual failure or rot. My pads lasted 90k on the FJR. That was a bit more than 2 years. ::) The rear went a bit more than that.

Since this thread is about a service interval that doesn't exist, we may as well have a little fun. I did let the dealer do the 600 mile service, but they won't see the bike again until a valve check. I'm just lazy and don't want to do that one. The rest is cheap and easy for owners to do. At 90k, still under warranty, (YES), the dealer told me Yamaha might want to see my records. I told them "no problem, but you might just fax them my notes in the owner's manual AND my complete tire log with notes." They did, and Yamaha never needed to see my receipts after that. :D I logged every single service I did meticulously and what I did, when in both time and odo. The 19 tires with notes on why they sucked or were good might have also had some bearing on it. In the US, the only time they will probably ask for receipts is if they really think it's an owner abuse issue. Not really too many of those.

you guys are lucky! In South Africa, Yamaha will not honour your warrantee if the bike wasn't serviced by an authorised dealer - SUCKS!

From the user manual (page 6-7)

"Every two years replace the internal components of the brake master cylinders and calipers as well as clutch master and release cylinders, and change the brake and clutch fluids."
