Here's a tip, not only for frog togs, but all rain gear pants.
Use a plastic bag( I use Home Depot bags as they are a little bigger and stouter). Slip your boot into them and step into your rain gear pant. The pants slide right on. Turn the bags inside out, until you can wash the dirt off.
No sitting in the water or mud. :D
Thx. I'll try that.

I am reposting from a thread I sarted in May that had no comments. The delay ground the board to a halt it seemed

I am pretty well set for gear and now that I have what works best for me. I thought while we wait for our MC's we could talk about what gear we have found works best. I have worn out a bunch of stuff and tried many different brands. I am 6 ' 4' tall 252 pounds so fit is always an issue.

Jacket and Pants

I bought the Moto-Port Stretch Kevlar last year and this year and now have the vented Kevlar jacket and pants as well..

The ability to get a custom made/fitted jacket and pants from Motoport is simply fantastic.

All you need to do is talk to Wayne about armour and abrasion in accidents and you are sold on his product. I saw the results of an FJR endo crash on the Haul road. The mesh gear didn't even tear and the rider was fine and it was a quick ( over 50 MPH ) get off

Gloves I have leather and summer gloves from Helimot - Nice people I ride down to pick them up in San Jose. When you buy their gloves the fingers and thumbs are a bit long. After you wear them for 3k miles you ship them back and they recut the gloves for a perfect fit.

When I bought my first pair I called them after a month and said I am sending my gloves back for a recut. She said you need more miles on them first I said I have over 15,000 miles on them already There was a silence on the end of the phone. I still have that pair and 5 other pairs (a few still new in the wrapping) and 4 pairs of summer gloves

I buy from them when they are in their slow season to help them out.

Electric jacket

Gerbings , because if you ride to the factory they will measure you and make you a custom fitted jacket. You can also phone in for a custom sizing but riding there is better.
