I'd go Baja over Rigid. Baja Designs lights are better, punch out further, and have a better color to them when going white for white. Rigid is really more of a mid-grade tier light.

Until you compare the Bajs's to Clearwater's. Then the Baja's are only the mid-grade tier light;)
I havne't touched them so can't speak on it, it would be nice to get some for comparison purposes. I need some sort of magazine scam to do an article and get free lights ;)

Actually not quite true Scott. Two different purpose built lights. Arguably, the Clearwater's are one of the very brightest lights you can buy. But the human eye can only take in so much light before eye fatigue becomes a real issue. This is what sets Baja Designs apart from the rest. They are designed to be run all night with zero eye fatigue. I used a single Squadron on my Beta when I got my Iron Butt. Plenty of light and eye fatigue was not an issue.

I will say I really like the strobe feature that's built into the Clearwater's. Other than that it's just a well built light that will wear your eyes out after a few hours of darkness in the saddle. Just go to any off road endurance race such as the 24 Hour at Glen Helen. There is not one team using the Clearwater's. But almost every team is running some type of Baja Design system.
