I'm looking for a new set of 3 season gloves, or more accurately 2 season gloves. Spring and fall. I'm looking for something with no insulation, no venting, preferably water proof. No frills, just basic riding gloves. What do you like?

I actually wear my Held Steves in most weather. I just let them get wet if it's not too cold and I'm not expecting to stay out long enough for my hands to get pruny. In light rain I can bake the water out with the heated grips. If I'm traveling and will be in the gloves for long enough that the wet will bother me, or if the weather is cold, I'll stop and put nylon glove covers over them. When they do get wet, the colors don't run and they don't dry crunchy like cheaper gloves do, so a little wet isn't that big a deal.

For really wet days, my Held Warm & Drys are waterproof, well armored, and not too bulky. They are thin on the palms for good feel and to let you get heat from the heated grips, and moderately insulated on the backs, not so much that they bulk up.

And for hot weather I wear Held Air Streams.

Can you tell I like Held gloves?

Whoever wins this month's giveaway will have to give us a report on the giveaway gloves, for this.

I have also used a pair of the Held Steve's and love them!!! It had been time to replace them recently and I find that Held now only makes this in the grey/blk not the tan/blk like years ago. I have had mine for over 5 years and 25-30k of riding on one pair of gloves.
I have replaced them with, but haven't worn yet are the new KLIM Adventure gloves. Good leather and padding, not bulky although doesn't have a gauntlet like the Steves. Time will tell on these, but look good.

Held Storm, great gloves, very comfortable and waterproof too. If I have to fault them for something its that the liner is not attached in the fingers and can pull out. No stiching in the liner means no leaks but its a nuisance to get them poked back in the gloves. I use a pencil or a tire pressure gauge to poke them back in. This rarely happens and only when conditions are such that my hands are damp when I put the gloves on. With care the gloves can be removed with damp hands without pulling the liners out.
In dry conditions its not a concern at all.
